A man is in custody and is expected to face first-degree murder charges after a 48-year-old man was found dead in Plaisance, Que., about 40 minutes east of Gatineau.
Sgt. Daniel Thibaudeau with Sûreté du Québec says police were called to an apartment of Rue du Parc around 2 p.m. Saturday where they found a man dead.
The victim has been identified as 48-year-old Erik Dugas.
The suspect, Thibaudeault says, will appear in court this week where he's expected to face first-degree murder charges. The suspect, who cannot be identified yet, did know the victim. Thibaudeault says there may be additional charges.
