Hydro Ottawa is reporting that more than 10,000 customers are without power after a wind and rain storm Sunday evening.
Winds up to 80 km/h started blowring around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, bringing with it heavy downpours. The inclement weather knocked out hydro to residents in Kanata, Stittsville, Rideau Goulbourn, Nepean, Kitchissippi, and Somerset.
Estimated restoration time for most outages is Monday morning at 12:30 a.m.
The storm knocked down trees across the city but no serious damage has been reported.
