Three men were arrested and two dogs were killed by police responding to a call in Gatineau
Gatineau Police say the arrived at the residence at about 4 a.m. after receiving calls about a fight.
Neighbours reported hearing loud banging on the walls and seeing at least one injured person.
Police say they were attacked by the dogs after they forced open the door and shot the animals in self-defence.
They say three men in their 20s were arrested and could face charges of assault, uttering threats and interfering with police work.
One of the three men was taken to hospital with minor injuries, and one police officer was slightly hurt during the incident.
