One day after their photo hit the internet; three persons of interest in a Kanata robbery have turned themselves in to police.
According to police, the assault and robbery took place on August 11, when a group of six men and one woman called Uber for a ride from a bar.
At the intersection of Terry Fox and Hazeldean, one member of the group reportedly became belligerent and started to punch the driver and took the victim's cellphone when he got out of the vehicle.
On Thursday, two of the three people in the photo released by police turned themselves in at the Elgin Street station. A third person described in the release also turned himself in.
The third person in the photo has been identified as well.
No charges have been laid.
