Ottawa Police have laid drug trafficking charges against two people after executing a search warrant in Navan.
Police searched a home in the 6000 block of Renaud Road, near Navan Road, Thursday, seizing about $36,635 worth of drugs. Officers found cocaine, crack, methamphetamine pills, Percocet, marijuana, and a quantity of unidentified pills.
Cell phones, digital scales, drug packaging materials, and $1800 in cash were also seized.
44-year-old Jean Fregory Pierre and 33-year-old Witzerlande Jean Brice, both of Ottawa, are facing numerous counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. Pierre is also facing one count of possession of the proceeds of crime.
Both have been released on a promise to appear in court.
