Two people are homeless after a fire in their Britannia home.
Ottawa Firefighters were called to 44 Croft Street at 1:00 p.m. Friday, on reports of smoke coming from the bungalow.
The two residents had safely evacuated before firefighters arrived.
The fire was under control in a half an hour. The cause is under investigation and a dollar loss estimate has not yet been calculated.
No one was hurt.
The displaced victims are being assisted by the Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
