Two people have been taken to hospital - one in critical condition - after a daytime double stabbing in the Byward Market.
Paramedics were called to George Street near Cumberland at about 4:36 this afternoon.
Ottawa Paramedics say two patients were treated.
One - a woman in her late 20s to early 30s - had a stab wound in her lower back. She's in critical condition.
The other - a man in his early 30s - had a stab wound to his chest. He's in serious condition.
Ottawa Police say two suspects are in custody.
They continue to investigate.
