The Ottawa Airport says it has reached an agreement with Uber on pick-up and drop-off services.
It's set to go into effect on Friday when Uber becomes legal in the city.
In a statement, Airport Authority President and CEO Mark Laroche says the move is in response to customer demand.
He says there's no reason why they wouldn't allow Uber to operate at the airport if they agree to terms and conditions which are consistent with other service providers like taxis.
Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
The airport was the site of large protests by taxi drivers in 2015 over an increase in pick-up fees.
It ended with the Airport Taxi fleet being dissolved.
