STO drivers and mechanics will not be walking off the job this week.
The union that represents Gatineau's transit workers, the Syndicat Uni du Transport local 591, says instead they will work-to-rule, wearing jeans on the job and refusing to work overtime.
It's the union's hope this will encourage the Société de Transport de l'Outaouais to come to the table with a better deal.
Workers have been without a contract for two years, and voted overwhelmingly to strike last month.
Commuters are being warned there could be schedule delays.
