Unionized workers at Integram Windsor Seating have voted to ratify a new contract agreement with the company.
A ratification vote was held Saturday morning at the Caboto Club.
The deal, which was reached on Nov. 12 after five days of strike action to back their demands, passed with 56 per cent support of the approximately 900 workers represented by Unifor Local 444.
"After rigorous negotiations, we have successfully reached an agreement that secures our future, with remarkable benefits for all our Integram members," said Local 444 President Dave Cassidy in a release.
"Our collective efforts have resulted in a ground-breaking 15% wage increase, catapulting us to the position of the highest-paid seat supplier in the country."
The agreement which expires in May 2026 also includes two new full paid holidays, improvements to the benefits package, and productivity bonus and lump sum payments.
