Two men are facing charges after allegedly dropping an Ottawa man off at the Alexandria Hospital, where he later died.
Just before 7:30 p.m. on Monday, a van dropped the 29-year-old man off at the hospital, about 100 kilometres east of Ottawa, and fled the scene, according to Stormont Dundas and Glengarry OPP.
The man was pronounced dead a short time later. Police have identified him as Khanh Nguyen, of Ottawa.
Police found the van, a white Honda Odyssey with Quebec licence plates, and arrested two men.
61-year-old Tri Minh Hoang, of Montreal, is charged with second-degree murder. A previous press release from OPP had listed this suspect as being 57 years old.
29-year-old Anh Quang Nguyen, of Ottawa, is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Both are also facing a charge of production of a Schedule II substance (cannabis marijuana).
OPP are seeking any witnesses with information on this homicide and will be continuing with the investigation, under the direction of Detective Inspector Dan NadeauĀ of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
