Ottawa Police are investigating after a body was pulled from the Rideau River, near Rideau Falls, Tuesday afternoon.
Bystanders called 9-1-1, about seeing a person in the river near the Union Street Bridge.
Ottawa Fire said they were responding to a possible water rescue that turned into a body recovery operation at around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Ottawa Police later updated to say the Marine, Dive, and Trails Unit would be investigating.
