UPDATE:
Ottawa Police are asking for help finding a missing 37-year-old woman.
Susan Kuplu has not been seen since Thursday, January 10, 2019. She’s known to frequent the ByWard Market and downtown areas.
As of Thursday, Jan. 24, Major Crime investigators say Kuplu was last seen Jan. 10 in the Elgin and Laurier area.
They say they believe she headed north toward Laurier and may have boarded a westbound OC Transpo bus from or nearby the Mackenzie King Bridge.
She may have been dropped off at Carling and Pinecrest.
The Major Crime unit is typically involved in homicide investigations. They say "based on developments in the direction of the investigation" there is the potential that foul play may be involved, which is why the MCU has taken charge of the case.
