Yusuf Hussein has turned himself in to Ottawa Police and will make a court appearance Tuesday.
Ottawa Police are searching for an 18-year-old man after a random assault.
Police say the attack happened on Saturday at 9:00am on the 200 block of Hannah Street.
Police say two men were attacked. One of the people escaped, suffering only minor injuries, but a 74-year-old man did suffer serious injuries.
Police are currently looking for 18-year-old Yusuf Hussein of Ottawa, wanted on charges of assault, aggravated assault, breach of probation, and breach of recognizance.
Hussein is described as Middle Eastern, 6'2", 224lbs, with short black hair and a short beard.
Police have already arrested another 18-year-old involved in the assault, Abdirahman Sahal of Ottawa. He's facing charges of aggravated assault, assault, and two counts of breach of probation.
