A teenage boy has been killed after being struck by a VIA train in Lancaster.
It happened just before 8 in the evening near Celtic Lane.
Three teens were walking along a CN rail bridge when police say two were struck.
The 16-year-old from Dorval, Quebec was pronounced dead at the scene while a 15-year-old from South Glengarry was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Train service along the tracks was shut down for three hours while police investigated the incident.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
