Ottawa Paramedics say three men were hurt in two incidents downtown early Thursday morning.
Paramedics responded to a report of shots fired at PPL Nightclub on George Street around 1:20 a.m. A 39-year-old was treated for a minor injury to his ankle where he had ben grazed by a bullet.
A man in his 20s suffered abrasions to his head and hands that paramedics say are consistent with an assault. If confirmed, this will mark the city's 61st shooting of 2016.
Elsewhere, paramedics say they treated a 26-year-old man after a stabbing at Nicholas and Laurier around 1:30 a.m. He was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
Police are investigating both incidents. It's not yet clear if they are related.
