There’s been a shake-up in the Ottawa Senators’ front office.
TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger was first to report Tom Anselmi had left his position as team president.

Anselmi was hired in January 2017 to replace Cyril Leeder.

The Ottawa Senators organization with a press release Friday confirming the news.
"Tom Anselmi will be vacating his role as President and CEO. We thank Tom for his contributions to the organization and wish him all the best in his future endeavours," the statement says. No other information was given.
Sources tells CTV News Anselmi resigned.
Anselmi came to Ottawa with experience from working with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. He was involved in the development of the SkyDome in Toronto (now the Rogers Centre) in the 1980s and the Air Canada Centre in the 1990s.
Meanwhile, Ottawa Senators General Manager Pierre Dorion has been given a three-year contract extension. Dorion will serve as GM through the 2021-22 season.
"Today's announcement reflects a renewed commitment to scouting, drafting and development. It may require changes to our lineup," team owner Eugene Melnyk said in a statemet. "Rest assured, we will only tolerate pain with an endgame in mind: building an organization that wins - at all levels - year in and year out."
