A 33-year-old man is facing several impaired driving charges after a man was killed in a head-on crash in Orleans Saturday night.
Police say an eastbound Dodge pickup truck ended up in the westbound lane, crashing into another car before being struck by another vehicle.
A 71-year-old man in the second involved vehicle was taken to hospital with critical head injuries -- where he later died.
A 33-year-old passenger in the truck was also sent to hospital with injuries and is listed in serious condition. A 30-year-old man in the third vehicle was treated on scene for minor injuries.
The pick-up truck's driver, Alain Boily, has now been charged with dangerous driving causing death and bodily harm and impaired driving causing death and bodily harm as well as other driving offences. He's scheduled to appear in court Sunday.
