Ottawa Paramedics say no one has been reported hurt in a three-alarm blaze on Concord Street North.
However, firefighters say at least three people will be displaced.
Firefighters responded to the fire in the red brick duplex on the corner of Concord and Echo Drive around 11:13 a.m. Thursday. Smoke could be seen pouring out of the windows. A second alarm was called at 11:22 a.m. and the third alarm was called at 11:47 a.m.
The fire is believed to have started in the basement.

Ottawa Police have closed several roads in the area.

Hydro Ottawa reported a forced outage due to the fire, affecting 1832 customers. They estimated power to be restored by 1:00 p.m.
Most customers had power back by 12:45 p.m.

The remainder got their power back after 3:00 p.m.

It's not yet known how much damage the fire has done or what caused it.
