Ottawa Police are investigating a pair of overnight shootings.
Police received calls around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday about gunshots fired in the area of Baseline Road and Highgate Road.
Witnesses reported two cars fleeing the scene after the shots were fired. Officers found multiple shell casings on the ground.
No injuries have been reported, and there are no suspects.
Elsewhere, one person is in hospital in serious, but stable condition after a shooting in Ottawa’s south-end.
Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots fired in the area of Uplands Drive and Paul Anka Drive just after 2 a.m. Thursday.
Police say a 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds.
The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating both incidents.
