Lots of Christmas lighting displays to see this weekend.....
The Gift of Lights continues at Wesley Clover Parks. This display is a family-friendly 2 kilometre drive-thru holiday light display featuring a 100 foot light tunnel at the exit, and over 30 static and animated light displays! This new family tradition is presented by MAJIC 100 FM and raising funds for the in support of the Sens Foundation. 5 - 10 pm.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, you can see the lights, ride a toy train, and enjoy holiday music at Upper Canada Village. Their "Alight at Night" runs from 5 until 9 pm.
The Cumberland Heritage Village Museum's "Vintage Village of Lights" continues this weekend. It's open Friday through Sunday from 3 pm to 8 pm. 2960 Old Richmond Rd in Cumberland.
The 32nd edition of "Christmas Lights Across Canada" is now live! It's centred on Parliament Hill, and a special digital show there will run between 5:30 pm and 11 pm until Christmas Day.
For the kids, some favourite plays and musicals to entertain them......
Disney's "Little Mermaid" is on at the Centrepointe Theatre Studio in Nepean this Saturday and Sunday. Shows are aat 1:30 pm.
Linda Jamieson Dance Company of Ottawa, in association with the Algonquin Commons Theatre, presents "The Nutcracker." This two act Ballet is not only a classic Christmas story, but is also a favourite amongst Linda Jamieson Dance Company audiences; new and old. Don’t miss out on this beloved performance this holiday season. Friday at 7 pm., and 1 pm and 7 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Share a holiday adventure at St. Paul’s Christmas for Kids: Passport to Christmas. St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Registration is required.

Traditional Romanian Christmas Carols Concert by Incognito Choir of Ottawa. St. Elias Antiochian Cathedral. Saturday, 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
The Ottawa Carleton Choristers present their annual Christmas concert, "Tidings of Great Joy." Saturday at 7:30 pm at the Woodroffe United Church.
Get into the Christmas spirit with The Salvation Army’s "Festival of Carols" at Centrepointe Theatre on Sunday. Two shows - 3 pm and 7 pm.
Candlelight and carols sung by the award-winning Choir of St Barnabas. St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Sunday at 7:30 pm.
Join "Coro Vivo Ottawa" in a festive celebration of spirit featuring the work of John Rutter, in an arrangement of African-American spiritual music centred on seven spirituals arranged for choir and mezzo-soprano soloist. Other seasonal, renowned, and favourite spirituals are included in the program. Orleans United Church, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm.
