On your marks! Get set! Support the troops! The Canada Army Run takes over City streets this weekend. The race happens this Sunday, September 17, but there are downtown events Saturday as well.
18 military units and three cadet corps will be exercising Freedom of the City this Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at City Hall. Freedom of the City is the highest honour a municipality can bestow upon a military unit.

The CityFolk festival is on from now until Sunday. This is all happening at Lansdowne. Marvest at CityFolk is also taking place in the Glebe Saturday and Sunday.

Now until Sunday, take in the Richmond Fair, in its 173rd year. The fair offers a venue for those in the community to showcase their arts, crafts, livestock, produce, etc. It is also an ideal place for meeting up with friends and neighbours.
Sparks Street is celebrating its 50th birthday and there are Living statues lining the pedestrian mall all weekend!
