Zoo's, aquariums, and Marineland have reopened to the public, but why is Canada's Wonderland still closed?
York Region is in Stage 3, but the massive theme park sits empty.
Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Lisa MacLeod was asked today why Marineland is allowed to reopen, but Canada's Wonderland is not.
She says despite safety measures being taken by Wonderland, and other places, it's still not safe yet, according to the Provincial health table.
She says some tourism and culture attractions have reopened, but with limited 'high touch' areas.
She hinted that Canada's Wonderland would not reopen until the rest of Ontario was in Stage 3.
Currently, Windsor-Essex remains in Stage 2.
Many attractions, which have reopened, are offering only select features.
All rides at Marineland are closed, the splash pad is open, but waterslides are closed.
The Niagara Falls theme park is also limiting the number of people allowed inside the park, using a first-come first-served system.
