A boil water advisory is in effect for part of Carleton Place.
There's been a water main break in the area of Westview Heights, between Mississippi Road and Dunham Street.
As a result, the local health unit is directing people in a surrounding zone to boil any water for at least a minute before using it for drinking, cooking or any personal care until further notice.
