Ottawa Police have charged a driver in connection with a confrontation with a cyclist on Bronson near Slater last month.
The incident appearing to show a vehicle slowly pushing a cyclist and his bike was caught on video January 11.
The footage went viral after being obtained and shared by CFRA.
Police say the driver exited his vehicle, threw the bike to the ground and assaulted the cyclist.
Initially, officers said no charges were being filed but the cyclist - Victor Jung - publicly demanded they be laid.
47-year-old Patrice Lepage of Gatineau is charged with assault, mischief and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
