Ottawa Police have laid new charges in connection with a shooting investigation in the Overbrook area.
Shots were fired on Queen Mary St. near North River Rd. at around 4:00 p.m. November 8. Police arrested one person at the scene, but that person was eventually released without charges.
Not long afterward, a man arrived in the hospital with a gunshot wound. He was charged Friday.
Steve Percy, 24, is facing a variety of firearms offenses.
On Tuesday, Ottawa Police said a second person was arrested and charged in this investigation.
Kerby Franklin, 28, was arrested in Cornwall and has been brought back to Ottawa to face charges.
In addition to a list of firearms charges, including pointing a firearm, careless use, and unauthorized possession, Franklin is also charged with two counts of attempted murder.
Police continue to investigate and say more people may be involved.
