Charges have officially been laid against a Gatineau Police officer accused of driving impaired.
The officer was off-duty when the Surete du Quebec pulled him over early in the morning on February 5th, on Highway 50 near Boulevard De La Gappe.
Gatineau Police say 26-year-old Mathieu Presseau has been charged with driving impaired, and driving with a blood alcohol level above the legal limit.
His license was suspended for 90 days. Gatineau Police have placed him on administrative duties, pending the trial.
