Starting on Monday at 6 a.m, Merivale Rd. will be closed between Island Park Dr. and Carling Ave.
The closure is required for safety reasons as the MTO complete their work on widening the 417 which also includes the widening of the Merivale Rd. Bridge.
The road is expected to be closed for about 10 weeks.
The 80 and 81 bus's will continue to service Westgate Mall and no bus stops will be impacted.
