The O.P.P. are warning people about the threat posed by Morning Glory seeds.
The flowers, common in gardens across Canada, produce seeds that contain L-S-A, a much milder form of L-S-D.
Eaten in large quantities, the seeds can set off hallucinogenic episodes.
Renfrew OPP say a local seed retailer became concerned when he noted young people buying several packages of Morning Glory seeds.
Police warn the seeds can also cause severe nausea.
Because they're usually coated with some sort of pesticide, the seeds could also cause liver or neural damage.
