The crazy kitchen is coming back!
The Canada Science and Technology Museum will reopen to the public Friday after undergoing a major makeover.
Director General, Christine Tessier says they are on track to become a world class museum.
“We’ve completely transformed this space,” Tessier says. “There are eleven new exhibitions for people to explore, along with a Maker’s Studio, and a demonstration stage as well. It will take hours to tour the space and then come back another day to enjoy your visit.”
The museum has been closed since September 2014. $80 million was spent to renovate the museum after issues with the crumbling building. The renovations dealt with the mould, asbestos and collapsing roof.
