Sentencing for an ex-RCMP officer found guilty of severely abusing his son has been put off for another two weeks.
Three days of proceedings were to begin today.
Instead they will start on March 15th in order to wait for testimony from psychiatrists.
The father was convicted of beating his son, starving him and confining him to a basement.
At the age of 11, the boy was found wandering a Kanata neighbourhood in 2013.
His stepmother - also convicted on charges - has about a year and a half left on a three-year sentence.
