Capital Taxi has launched a new mobile phone app as it continues its battle with ride-sharing service, Uber.
The company's president, Marc-Andre Way, told CTV Morning Live that the new app allows you to choose the time of pickup, and the type of vehicle you want.
Customers can also decide how to pay - whether by credit card, cash, or debit card.
But Way said it all comes down to customer service.
"There's customer service training, there's a part on defensive driving, there's accessibility training," he said.
"All of our drivers are licensed, insured, in-car camera, GPS, local management," Way added.
"If there's an issue, you can call us - we're here, we're local guys."
The app is available for Apple and Android phones.
