A massive fire at former window-and-door factory Chantecler Portes et Fenêtres in Gatineau is being investigated as suspicious.
Gatineau firefighters say they were called to 35 rue Desrosiers around 6:15 p.m. Saturday after neighbours alerted them to the blaze.
As of 3:00 a.m. Sunday, crews with more than 55 firefighters were still getting the blaze under control.
Scott Killeen, head of operations with Gatineau Fire, says the flames were more than 40-feet high. The fire left behind $1.7 million in damages.
No injuries were reported.
